Eduperience.com is built based on WordPress, the most popular blog software. WordPress is a blog publishing application and content management system. It was first released in May 2003 by its co-founders Matt Mullenweg and Mike Little as the successor to b2/cafelog. As of September 2009, Wordpress is used by 62.8 million websites in the US and 202 million websites worldwide.

WordPress also features integrated link management; a search engine-friendly, clean permalink structure; the ability to assign nested, multiple categories to articles; multiple author capability; and support for tagging of posts and articles. Automatic filters that provide for proper formatting and styling of text in articles (for example, converting regular quotes to smart quotes) are also included.

WordPress also supports the Trackback and Pingback standards for displaying links to other sites that have themselves linked to a post or article. Finally, WordPress has a rich plugin architecture which allows users and developers to extend its functionality beyond the features that come as part of the base install.

You mention revenue sharing, which is a great way to keep eduperience.com a viable and strong product. I must ask, do you restrict who can advertise on your site? Because of nature and ethos of our university they would more than frown if there were beer/alcohol or condom advertisers (as examples) on page.
    Thank you.

In some occasions we show Google Adsense. Alternatively when we deal with direct advertisers, we accept only “family safe” ads. We aware that our users are from wide variety of ages, we make sure they are “family safe” ads. Enjoy. Ferdy.

    Hello

I find this very interesting and useful! I am the coordinator of a Comenius Project and we do wish to create an e-journal.The possibility of having multiple authors is great since we have to use ICT between 5 different schools in Europe. My question is, can we use 5 different languages in the website? Portuguese, Italian, Greek, Estonian and Greek?
    Thank you!
    Xana
